Thieves flee with cash after knife-point robbery at Nanaimo 7-Eleven

NANAIMO — Police are looking for two men in relation to an early morning armed robbery at the Terminal Ave. 7-Eleven.

Nanaimo RCMP say just before 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20, two men walked into the store right with one of the suspects walking right behind the counter.

Brandishing a knife, he demanded money from the till. The worker opened the till and took an undisclosed of money before leaving the store. No-one was injured.

Police were able to get to the incident within minutes, but were unable to locate the two men.

The first suspect is described as a Caucasian man with a thin build, medium height with a mustache, wearing a blue hoodie, baseball hat, dark shorts and running shoes.

The second suspect had on a black mask, a plaid jacket with a black hoodie underneath, and a ball cap.
