Twin City Brewery has been selected to take over operations at the city’s only heritage building.
Owner Aaron Colyn says they plan to open a taphouse and dining experience at the old train station
“The emphasis will be on having this as a dining space,” he said. It’s going to allow us to do more and I think with what’s happening on the waterfront area there, we are really excited about having a presence and having the opportunity to do it in a building that has a lot of history.”
Colyn says they’ll feature beer from throughout BC, but focus more on local food products.
Their Margaret Street facility, recently named BC’s best brewery, will remain in place.
They hope to have the new restaurant open by fall or earlier.
