NOTICE OF APPEAL DECISION

An Appeal Tribunal constituted under Alberta’s Chartered Professional Accountants Act, after considering an appeal from a Discipline Tribunal decision confirmed that decision in part and allowed the appeal in part.

The Appeal Tribunal set aside the Discipline Tribunal’s order cancelling the registration of Victor Mema, CPA, CMA effective March 5, 2024 and replaced it with an order suspending Victor Mema, CPA, CMA’s registration for a period of one month pursuant to section 95(1)(b) of the Chartered Professional Accountants Act.
