NANAIMO — Mounties confirm one person was killed in an early morning motor vehicle incident in the city’s downtown.
A statement from the Nanaimo RCMP confirmed officers remain on scene at the Mid-Island Co-Op Gas Bar station at 60 Victoria Cres. on Wednesday, Sept. 16, after “a motor vehicle incident in the parking lot”.
The victim is an adult man, according to police, however no further details were made available.
Police say Victoria Cres. was closed to traffic early Wednesday morning, however it has since re-opened.
