Nanaimo RCMP hoping domestic violence victims of Ladysmith man will come forward

Jul 21, 2020 | 4:17 PM

NANAIMO — Police are circulating the photo of an accused abuser in the hopes of discovering previous victims.

Nanaimo RCMP Cst. Jon Stuart told NanaimoNewsNOW Kade Dwolinsky of Ladysmith was arrested back on June 18, 2020 for allegedly attempting to force a woman he knew into a car outside her work.

The woman wasn’t injured and Dwolinsky is accused of fleeing, only to be arrested by Ladysmith RCMP several hours later.

“It was after a review from our Domestic Violence Unit we felt there may be merit in releasing the information to the public at this time to see if there’s any other victims out there,” Stuart said.
