The Harbour City has had its fair share of spooky incidents over the years, some more nefarious than others.

Any long-time Nanaimo resident will recall stories of the log house near Beban Park being haunted, disturbing noises coming from Wellington late at night, or  a Cadborosaurus sea monster from the deep.

No doubt, there are many such mysterious occurrences still left to be discovered…

Any good detective knows to photograph the scene of a crime to preserve potential evidence. So remember to start your visit to the museum by posing for a signature selfie at the exhibit’s title wall with chalk outline. Could you be the next victim? Or maybe the prime suspect?

2. Fact or Fiction?

Comb through a variety of evidence and artifacts in front of you.

Is what you’re seeing part of a true historical crime, or just made-up nonsense meant to confuse your senses?

Flip the labels up to discover the truth, but no peeking before you make your guess! You never know who could be watching (ghosts, probably).

3. The Writing’s On The (Ghost) Wall

Do you ever lie awake at night wondering just what exactly is making those creaking noises in your house?
