Nanaimo RCMP search for man accused of assault, breaching court order

Apr 24, 2020 | 12:10 PM

NANAIMO — Local mounties are looking for a man who they say violated a no-contact order.

Trevor Robert Coles, 32, is wanted on two counts of breach of recognizance following a March 13 incident where police allege he visited a woman’s home who had the order against him.

The order itself stems from a situation the day prior when Coles allegedly assaulted the woman in her home and took off.

A police dog tracked Coles down a short while later where he was arrested for assault and released on several conditions, including the no-contact order.
