Clippers hope new season sees continued momentum after trip to BCHL Finals
NANAIMO — A new BCHL season brings a clean slate, but the Nanaimo Clippers hope it can also carry momentum after tremendous 2025-26 campaign and an appearance in the BCHL Finals.
Head coach and general manager Colin Birkas said the post season run provided many great hockey memories.
“It was a lot of fun to be a part of a run like that. We don’t look back with regret, we gave it everything we had and we had a great time doing it. But it definitely leaves that taste that that was fun but we’d really like to take it one step further.”
If there’s one thing that the Clippers would like to change, not only from last year but from the last several seasons, it’s their win total in the first two months of the year.
