Truck driver charged in fatal crash which killed Chemainus man
QUESNEL — Police say a tractor-trailer driver has been charged with impaired driving causing death in a crash involving a motorcyclist last year.
The crash happened July 24, 2025, on Highway 97 near Quesnel, in the province’s Cariboo region.
Police say a Kenworth tractor-trailer collided with a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, killing the 42-year-old man on the motorbike who was from Chemainus.
The BC Prosecution Service approved multiple charges against the truck driver after a yearlong police investigation.
