Nanaimo man facing drugs & weapons charges after CBSA investigation
NANAIMO — Intercepting weapons accessories at Vancouver International Airport in 2022 had led to a significant seizure at a south Nanaimo home.
A Thursday, June 13 Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) news release outlined a combined nine firearms and drug charges against 36-year-old Cody Edward Ranger.
On May 30, 2023 in coordination with the RCMP’s Vancouver Island Emergency Response Team, CBSA criminal investigators applied a search warrant at a Ninth St. home in Nanaimo, near Park Ave. Elementary School.
Several drones were reported by a local resident flying above the south Harewood area during the application of the search warrant.
