5 people are killed, 18 injured by a missile strike in the Russian city of Belgorod, officials say
KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Five people have died, including a child, and 18 people have been injured in a missile strike on the Russian city of Belgorod, regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said Thursday.
Five of the injured are children, he said on Telegram.
The governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, said a shopping center and a school stadium were hit in the missile attack.
“There are many casualties: dead and wounded,” he said on Telegram.
