NANAIMO — Boxer alert! Meet Firefly, a four-year-old black and white Boxer who’s eager to zoom into your life.

She can be shy at first, but doesn’t take long to warm up to you. Firefly would do best in a home all to herself, along with some owners who can match her energy.

The Nanaimo SPCA have reopened their doors to the public. You can still submit an application online and book an appointment if it’s a match, or stop by their Nanaimo location Tuesday-Sunday from noon until 4:00 p.m.
