NANAIMO — Meet Evie!

This two-year-old domestic short-hair cat was a stray with a badly wounded eye that needed to be removed, but she’s not letting that keep her down.

Evie is incredibly friendly and affectionate. She starts to purr the moment her friends enter the room, especially if you come bearing food.

The Nanaimo SPCA have reopened their doors to the public. You can still submit an application online and book an appointment if it’s a match, or stop by their Nanaimo location Tuesday-Sunday from noon until 4:00 p.m.
