Quebec RCMP searching properties allegedly connected to neo-Nazi terrorist group
PLESSISVILLE, Que. — RCMP are searching properties southwest of Quebec City that they say may be connected to a neo-Nazi terrorist group.
The police say on Twitter that the investigation targets individuals with suspected ties to the Atomwaffen Division, which is listed by the federal government as a terror group.
Photos posted online by the RCMP today show heavily armed officers outside various buildings, including one that resembles a church.
The police say the searches are taking place in St-Ferdinand and Plessisville, which are located between Montreal and Quebec City.
