Gun used in Nanoose Bay liquor store robbery

NANOOSE BAY — A man armed with a gun robbed the Arlington Inn Beer and Wine Store in Nanoose Bay.

Oceanside RCMP say a masked man entered the store around 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 3 and held up a gun throughout the robbery.

Police said the man grabbed the lone female employee working at the time and pushed her behind the counter. The suspect then took cash from the store and put in a dark coloured backpack.
