Clippers score late power play goal to tie Wenatchee 3-3
CHILLIWACK – A late power play goal earned the Clippers a 3-3 tie with the Wenatchee Wild on Saturday afternoon.
The point gained saw Nanaimo leave the BCHL Showcase with a share of first place in the Island Division standings.
Things started out slowly for both teams with no scoring in the first period and the shot tally sitting at 7-3 for Wenatchee.
The Wild broke through on a second period power play when a shot from the left side by Noah Kim beat Austin Roden.
