UPDATE: Wanted Prince George man arrested by RCMP in Port Alberni

UPDATE — Nanaimo RCMP advise Delorme was located and arrested in Port Alberni.

EARLIER — NANAIMO — A northern B.C. man wanted on multiple domestic violence-related charges is believed to be on the mid-Island.

Jayson Lee Delorme, 41, is thought to be travelling in the Nanaimo, Port Alberni or Duncan area of Vancouver Island and faces a long list of changes stemming from incidents in Prince George and Fort St. John upwards of two years ago.

Delorme has been charged with two counts each of assault and uttering threats, as well as other charges of assault by choking and theft of a motor vehicle between March and September 2022.

Court records also show several charges of breaching release conditions, including ones leading to his latest arrest warrant.

Police say Delorme is around 5’9″ tall, 200 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes.

He has a tattoo on his left wrist of the word “Kayden” and another tattoo on his back of a crown.

Delorme also reportedly has three piercings in his left ear.

Mounties say he should be considered violent and anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact Nanaimo RCMP at 250 754 2345.
