Clippers dominate third period but drop game 2-1 in West Kelowna
WEST KELOWNA – For most of the Clippers game against West Kelowna on Saturday it looked like the score clock was broken.
It was 1-0 for the Warriors three minutes in on a Parm Dhaliwal goal, and it stayed that way until there was seven minutes left.
Evan DeBrouwer and West Kelowna’s Shane Farkas held both sides without a goal for nearly 50 minutes, but a goal against the flow of play by Logan Mostat gave the Warriors a 2-0 lead with seven minutes to go.
Nanaimo had most of the pressure in the third period and outshot West Kelowna 23-6.
