Woman on e-scooter dies after collision with transit bus in downtown

VANCOUVER — Police say a woman on an e-scooter died following a collision with a transit bus in downtown Vancouver.

A release from Vancouver Police says the crash happened early Saturday when a man and a woman were riding an e-scooter on Seymour Street and entered the intersection at West Pender Street.

Police say neither the man nor the woman were wearing helmets.

The woman died at the scene.
