NEW WESTMINSTER — A man accused of killing a Surrey, B.C., resident during a home invasion in 2024 has been convicted of second-degree murder, in a case that triggered calls for bail reform.
The BC Prosecution Service says Adam Mann was found guilty by a jury in New Westminster, B.C., on Wednesday.
Mann is set to appear next Thursday in court to set a date for sentencing.
The attack happened on June 16, 2024, at 30-year-old Tori Dunn’s home in Surrey’s Port Kells neighbourhood, where she was stabbed and died from her injuries.
