Alberni voters packed the Italian Hall last night for a municipal and regional all candidates meeting.
Organized by a facebook group called AV Taxpayers, it was a rare opportunity for the ACRD candidates to speak to a large crowd.
While Beaufort has acclaimed their director, two people are running in Cherry Creek and Beaver Creek, and 4 people vying for the Sproat Lake seat.
11 of the 12 city council candidates attended, with Tom Verbrugge announcing he was dropping out due to online harassment and declined to answer any further questions.
