Vandals hit Victoria and Harbours Quays

While there is plenty of activity around Port Alberni’s Harbour Quay, not all of it has been positive.

While the new timbers are up for the HGTV upgrade of Harbour Quay shops, a nearby restaurant suffered two break ins last week, allegedly by the same person.

According to owner Aaron Colyn, the new Waystation area of the Station Taphouse was broken into last Wednesday, but the alarm frightened the intruder who only made off with a few items.

But the bold burglar returned early Sunday morning and took more items, with his alleged image captured on security cameras and posted online.
