WHITE ROCK — A man who taught girls to dance at a studio in White Rock, B.C., faces multiple sexual assault charges alleged to have taken place between 2006 and 2011.

RCMP says 45-year-old Nigel Brock Jellison faces five counts of sexual assault and one charge of sexual exploitation involving four females.

RCMP says the investigation started in 2021 when a complaint was made at the White Rock detachment and more alleged victims were later identified.

Police say charges were laid in February against Jellison and he was arrested on a Canada-wide warrant in Magrath, Alta., on April 15.
