NANAIMO — From all of us here at the NanaimoNewsNOW newsroom, we’d like to wish you and your family a truly Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

While it seems like we say it every year, this year was truly a challenging one on many fronts. From social challenges, to affordability and housing crises, there is a lot of stress and anxiety for all.

Despite this, we hope you’re able to pause, reflect, relax and find comfort and joy in at this time, ideally surrounded by friends and family

It’s what our news team is doing today, as we have no further news content planned for Christmas Day, however we remain able to respond to breaking news situations should they arise.

Our regular schedule of news, both online and on air through our radio partners 106.9 The Wolf, 102.3 The Wave in Nanaimo, and 88.5 The Beach and The Lounge 99.9 in Parksville, will resume on Boxing Day.
