NANAIMO — Kayu is a four-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier who’s looking for a couch with a sunbeam where she can nap her days away.

Kayu’s recent litter of puppies have all been adopted, and now it’s momma’s turn.

Kayu is sweet as sugar with a very laid-back and easy-going personality and is curious about other dogs but finds smaller animals a bit too much fun to chase, so a home where she’s the only animal would be ideal.

You can submit an application online and book an appointment if it’s a match, or stop by their Nanaimo location Tuesday-Sunday from noon until 4 p.m.
