Police say a woman, later captured by security cameras at the Shell gas station on Nicol St., near downtown Nanaimo, backed her vehicle into the building around 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 30, 2022.
“The impact caused significant damage to the building. The driver then got out of her vehicle, went inside the store and spoke to the clerk,” a statement from Nanaimo RCMP read.
