Siakam, VanVleet have 25 points apiece in ugly 126-113 win over short-handed Lakers
TORONTO — Pascal Siakam had 25 points and 10 rebounds on Wednesday to lead the Toronto Raptors to a 126-113 rout over a Los Angeles Lakers team missing stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
Fred VanVleet also scored 25 points, despite shooting a horrible 3-for-12 from three-point range, while O.G. Anunoby added 23 points. Scottie Barnes had 13 points and tied his career high with 17 rebounds for the Raptors (13-12), who improved to 10-3 at home.
Gary Trent Jr. chipped in with 18 points, while Chris Boucher had 16. Dennis Schroder and Russell Westbrook had 18 points apiece for the Lakers (10-14).
It was Siakam’s fifth game of the season with 20-plus points, 10-plus rebounds and at least five assists. He finished with seven assists on the night.
