NANAIMO — It’s deadline day to pay your 2022 property taxes.

Municipal property taxes for all properties across B.C. are due Monday, July 4, including those within City limits and in rural areas.

City property owners can pay taxes at the City’s Service and Resource Building on Dunsmuir St. via a cheque, pay online through their bank or set up a monthly withdrawal plan with the City.

Penalties will begin to be applied to outstanding bills beginning Tuesday, July 5 with the City of Nanaimo applying a two per cent penalty. Another eight per cent penalty will be added if the balance is not paid by the end of day on Aug. 31.
