IQALUIT, Nunavut — Nunavut residents age 50 years and up can now get a fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The territory announced Tuesday that eligible people who have had their third dose at least four- and-a-half months ago can now get a fourth.

The territory also says third doses are now available to people ages five to 11 who are immunocompromised.

Residents can make vaccine appointments by calling their local health centre.
