Meet Nina, an adventurous pup with a soft spot for her owners

NANAIMO — It’ll be hard to find a dog as affectionate as Nina.

This five-year-old Australian Cattle Dog/Red Heeler mix always keeps her eyes on her owner and will bail on running halfway across a field just to sit at your feet.

Nina’s energetic and delightful but can also be quite shy. She’ll do best with a laid back owner in a quiet home with no loud or sudden noises.

She’s shown to do well with other canine friends outside the home as long as they’re slowly and properly introduced.
