KELOWNA — Charges have now been approved after the death of a man in Kelowna last weekend.

The B.C. Prosecution Service has approved a charge of second degree murder against Lorence Williams in the death of Thomas Chadwick, whose body was found just after 10:00 p.m. on Sunday May 30, 2021 at a residence in the 3400-block of Sexsmith Road in Kelowna.

Williams, who police say is 40-years-old, was arrested the next day after a tip from the public.

After his first court appearance, the suspect was remanded in custody, and his next court appearance is scheduled for June 8.
