Parksville woman victimized by perplexing cases of mischief

PARKSVILLE — Its been a rough couple weeks for a distraught Parksville woman victimized by three separate cases of what police describe as senseless and costly mischief.

Police say the owner of a 2005 GMC Sierra had her truck vandalized in front of her home at 260 Morison Ave. three times in October.

Damage from smashed windows, slashed tires and scratches totaled more than $2,500.

The owner has no idea what caused the damage, while no other vehicles have reportedly been damaged in the area, according to police.

All three incidents transpired in the evenings of Oct. 19, 20 and 23.
