Man seriously hurt in Nanoose Bay motorcycle crash

NANAIMO — A man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash at the military base in Nanoose Bay.

Lieutenant Navy Tony Wright told NanaimoNewsNOW an employee of the Canadian Forces Maritime Experimental and Test Ranges (CFMETR) fell off a motorcycle at 6:30 Monday night.

Wright said the rider was flown to hospital in Victoria with serious injuries.

He said the incident is under investigation by Military Police.
