Clippers drop 4-1 decision to Grizzlies
NANAIMO – The Clippers dropped their fourth preseason game in a row on Friday in a 4-1 setback to Victoria.
It was a tight game throughout most of the night with Victoria getting on the board first with a shot from in close by Sage Englund in the first period.
The only goal of the second was a short handed effort by Victoria’s Cody Van Lierop when he snuck behind the Clippers defense.
Nanaimo had a pair of five on three power plays in the second period but failed to score.
