NISKU, AB — A rematch of the 2026 BCHL Finals pitted the Nanaimo Clippers against the Brooks Bandits at the BCHL Showcase.

Brooks won the Finals series in five games, while also besting the rematch by a score of 4-1 on Wednesday, Oct. 14 at Silent Ice Centre in Nisku, AB.

The Bandits jumped out in front 2-0 in the first period thanks to a pair of power-play markers by Dmitrijs Dilevka and Michael Kucherawy.

Nanaimo fought back in the middle frame with Drew Roelofs scoring on a breakaway.

Roelofs scored in both Clipper games at the Showcase.

Michal Marsalek rocketed a shot to the top corner before the intermission break and Marsalek added an empty-net goal late in the third.

Power plays were a big part of the game with the Bandits going 2/6 and the Clippers finishing 0/4.

Hugo Laring took the loss in net to Brooks Emile Beaunoyer even though Nanaimo outshot the Bandits 30-27.
