Eby says no place for violence in politics as RCMP probe Campbell River bomb threat
LANGLEY, B.C. — New Democrat Leader David Eby says violence should have no place in politics after a party campaign office in Campbell River was evacuated following a bomb threat.
Eby, who was campaigning Friday in the Vancouver Island city, says today he was not in the campaign office when the threat was received.
He says at a campaign stop in Langley that he is grateful for the courage of the office staff who were told to temporarily evacuate by the RCMP, who are investigating the incident.
The RCMP were not immediately available for comment.
