Local BC United candidate “surprised”

Local BC United candidate Joshua Dahling said he was shocked and surprised by party leader Kevin Falcon’s decision.

“I’m still absorbing it all. It was a surprise,” he said. “There was no discussions with people ahead of time, but at the same time I think that’s what they think is needed to change the government that exists today.”

Dahling said he’s been campaigning throughout the Mid Island – Pacific Rim riding for the past few months and will take some time to consider his future.

A former NDP’er turned BC United candidate, Dahling says he has been contacted by the BC Greens who have yet to name a candidate here.
