Repeat sex offender pleads guilty to Parksville voyeurism offence
NANAIMO — Already convicted of sexually assaulting a senior in Qualicum Beach and harassing women with threatening phone calls, a man awaits sentencing for a voyeurism offence.
Joel Perry, 39, pleaded guilty on Monday, July 8 at provincial court in Nanaimo to one count of secretly observing/recording nudity in a public place.
The offence took place in Parksville on June 19, 2022 while Perry was charged a little over a month ago.
Judge Tamara Hodge ordered a pre-sentence report and psychological assessment for Perry.
