RCMP Bomb Squad investigate apartment

Port Alberni RCMP along with the explosives disposal unit from Vancouver are searching a Burde Street apartment today.

Police raided the building yesterday morning and neighbours say multiple guns were brought out and taken away.

Police have arrested the male occupant of the apartment, who is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.

Charges have not yet been announced.
