PARKSVILLE — Oceanside RCMP are looking for a woman allegedly involved in a serious home invasion last year who’s no longer residing at a Lower Mainland recovery house.

Theresa Marie Evenson, 36, was last seen at a Surrey recovery house on April 13, 2023.

Her ankle monitoring bracelet has since been tampered with, police noted.

Evenson and co-accused Spencer Lee Schaeffer allegedly threatened and confined the victim of a home on March 10, 2022, at a rural property north of Qualicum Beach.

Evenson was charged with robbery, possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of stolen property and theft of a motor vehicle for her alleged role in the incident.

She is described as white, standing 5’6”, with brown hair and green eyes. She has several star tattoos on the right side of her face.

Oceanside RCMP noted Evenson has ties to Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland.

Multiple arrest warrants were recently granted for her apprehension.

Anybody with information on Evenson’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Oceanside RCMP at: 250-248-6111.

The victim of last year’s home invasion reported being held and threatened with a firearm, while several items were stolen, including the victim’s truck.

Oceanside RCMP stated at the time the accused and victim were known to each other.
