Blueberry, the tri-legged kitty with plenty of pep in her step

NANAIMO — An old injury and subsequent amputation hasn’t slowed down dear Blueberry.

This four-year-old domestic long haired cat is ready for adoption at the Nanaimo and District branch of the BC SPCA.

She’s looking to be the only cat in a home with a family who will create the best environment possible for her, including no or minimal stairs.

Despite her injury Blueberry still loves to explore, run and jump around, but she will need to be an indoor-only cat.

The Nanaimo SPCA have reopened their doors to the public. You can still submit an application online and book an appointment if it’s a match, or stop by their Nanaimo location Tuesday-Sunday from noon until 4:00 p.m.
