Ottawa Senators sign centre Mark Kastelic to two-year contract extension
OTTAWA — The Ottawa Senators and centre Mark Kastelic have agreed on a two-year contract extension, the team announced Thursday.
The deal, which carries an average annual value of US$835,000, will pay the 23-year-old $800,000 in 2023-24 and $870,000 in 2024-25.
In his third professional season, Kastelic had two goals in six games with Ottawa in 2022-23 heading into Thursday’s contest against the Minnesota Wild.
In 22 career NHL games, the six-foot-three, 233-pound Phoenix native has registered six points and 19 penalty minutes.
