B.C. NDP was clear favourite of donors in fourth quarter

The B.C. NDP received more political contributions in the fourth quarter of 2021 than all other parties combined.

The Interim Financial Reports from Elections B.C. shows the NDP collected more than $1.3 million ($1,381,267) between October 1 and December 31, 2021.

During that same period, the Liberals received $647,265 in donations; the Greens raised $462,837; the Conservatives collected $10,011; and the Rural B.C. Party raised $50.

All combined, those four parties raised $1,120,163 in the fourth quarter, which is $261,104 shy of the contributions to the NDP.
