68 per cent of COVID-19 patients in B.C. hospitals not fully vaccinated
VICTORIA — British Columbia recorded 375 more cases of COVID-19 Wednesday as vaccination numbers rise, including among children.
The province’s health ministry says 84.8 per cent of eligible people five and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 81.7 per cent have had their second shot.
The new cases bring the total number of people infected to 218,801 since the pandemic, with 2,936 active cases.
B.C. also recorded seven more deaths, bringing the death toll to 2,340.
