Clippers score five straight and beat Capitals 6-3
NANAIMO — The Clippers were down 3-1 to the Capitals but took the game over in the last 30 minutes to win 6-3.
Cowichan Valley had the only goal in the first period when Arjun Bawa snuck a shot behind Cooper Black on a late power play.
Nanaimo tied the game when Austin Spiridakis beat 15-year-old goaltender Matthew Hutchison seven seconds into the second period.
Two goals in a span of 80 seconds then shot the Capitals back in front but the Clippers returned the favour with two markers in 85 seconds from Brody Waters and Sean Donaldson to knot the contest again.
