Stampeders’ QB Mitchell set to make his return from broken leg

Sep 10, 2021 | 9:37 AM

Calgary Stampeders quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell is set to return from a broken leg.

Mitchell is listed as the starter for Saturday’s Labour Day rematch against the Elks in Edmonton.

The two-time CFL most outstanding player fractured his fibula in Week 1 of the season.

He came off the six-game injured list and resume practising last week but was on the one-game list for Monday’s 32-20 loss at McMahon Stadium in Calgary.
