Biography:
I am semi-retired and the proprietor of a contracting company. I have multiple post-secondary degrees and diplomas in earth sciences, business and health & safety. My project management roles in large industries ranged from the cleanup of contaminated sites to the creation of robust environmental, health and safety programs at manufacturing plants across Canada. I have managed multi-million-dollar budgets and led multi-disciplinary teams to the successful completion of complex projects. My passion for politics arises from being a father concerned about the Canada we are creating for future generations. When not engaged in work or politics, I am out hiking the forests and mountains of beautiful Vancouver Island with my hiking group or with my Siberian Husky, Emma.
