Biography:
Nanaimo-Ladysmith is my home, where I’ve raised my two teenage children and have fought for some of the most vulnerable people in our community for over 26 years. I am the best candidate because I’m deeply rooted here and I know what it’s like to do the work on the frontlines to make change, not just talk about it.

I’ve served as a School Board Trustee since 2018 where I made sure that students, and families, are always put first. The difficulties of the pandemic continue, and the safety and wellbeing of our community remains my top priority. Whether as a School Board Trustee or a Member of Parliament.

In my work in addictions , I help those who have been left behind by federal inaction to the opioid crisis. I have worked alongside municipal governments and nonprofit organizations to better deliver resources to individuals experiencing homelessness, mental illness, and addiction.
