SALMON ARM, B.C. — It’s been ten years since Pamela Jones was killed, and police and her family are hoping the anniversary may spark some new tips into the case.

On August 11, 2011 at 5:30 p.m., RCMP was called to Pamela Jones’ home in the 4700 block 10th Ave. SE in Salmon Arm.

“When officers arrived, they found her face down in the carport of the residence, the victim of homicide,” said S/Sgt. Janelle Shoihet, Senior Media Relations Officer with the BC RCMP.

“The BC RCMP Major Crime Section continues to follow up on all tips and leads in this investigation. The case remains active and on-going,” Superintendent Sanjaya Wijayakoon, Operations Officer of BC RCMP MCS, said. “Investigators believe there are people who have information and/or know what happened to Pamela and haven’t provided that information to the RCMP. Pamela’s family deserves answers and the RCMP is asking people to come forward now.”
