BAKER LAKE, Nunavut — RCMP in Baker Lake, Nunavut, say they’ve arrested a Saskatchewan man on a Canada-wide warrant for second-degree murder.

Corey Clarke, who is 33, has been arrested in the central Nunavut community of about 2,000 people — a fly-in community that is more than 2,500 kilometres away from Prince Albert.

Police in the Saskatchewan city issued a warrant for Clarke’s arrest Monday for second-degree murder following the death of 29-year-old Natasha Ross of La Ronge, Sask.

Police found Ross unresponsive at a residence in Prince Albert on May 24.
